Internal shakeups happen with changes in personnel. From reassigning responsibilities, hiring a replacement, to shutting off access - it is never a simple process. We can all agree that one less task to worry about is ideal. By making sure to properly set up your Celigo Account Owner you can save your team any future headache when it comes to sudden changes in personnel.
Recommendation: Use a General Email Alias as the IO Account Owner (please refer to this fantastic Community article on why you should set up an email alias)
But what happens if you do not have an email alias AND your primary IO account owner leaves your organization? You will likely run into one of the below three options for changing the Primary integrator.io Account Owner email:
-
[Option 1] If you have access to the primary account owner’s email you can follow the instructions here to simply switch the account ownership to another user (ideally an email alias)
-
[Option 2] If you do not have access to the primary Account Owner’s email:
-
Have your IT team re-activate the Account Owner’s email
-
Navigate to the integrator.io Sign In page > Enter the Account Owner’s email > Click Forgot Password
-
integrator.io will send an email link to the Account Owner’s email address that will allow a password reset which will then allow you to gain access to the Account Owner’s account to be changed using the same instructions above in option 1
-
-
[Option 3] You do not have access to the primary account owner’s email nor can your IT team recover the email:
-
Please reach out to your Celigo Account Manager or submit a support ticket to start the verification process. For the security of your organization’s information, our team must verify your association with your organization. This process entails:
-
A video conference phone call with the individual to provide:
-
At least 2 valid forms of identity, such as:
- a drivers license, passport, identification card, or business card (or other legitimate business verification)
- A business email for the new Account Owner (ideally an email alias)
- An email from the requestors corporate business account. Personal emails are not accepted e.g GMail, Yahoo etc.
- Note: this should be an email not associated with an existing IO account - if it is so associated, then we need permission to delete any flows the account has and that account effectively deleted operationally when the email is used for the account recovery.
-
-
-
Once this has been completed and verified on a conference call your Celigo representative will start the approval process internally and let you know once this has been completed
-
We always recommend setting up an accessible email alias as your main account owner but in the event of your Celigo Account Owner’s departure we are here to help!
