Helpful onboarding tips for accessing your new account

Congratulations on starting your Celigo journey! Below you will find some helpful tips and best practices when setting up your account and adding users.

Shortly after joining Celigo, you should receive an email notice from our licensing team confirming that your account has been properly provisioned. In the email, our licensing team will share the account owner email address as well as best practices for setting up your account and password. If you are unsure what your account owner email address is, don’t hesitate to reach out to your Onboarding Manager, Account Manager, or the Celigo support team.

If you have not yet obtained your login credentials for the account owner, initiate the password reset process by selecting the "Forgot Password" option on the login interface, and proceed in accordance with the guided instructions. If you do not immediately see a "forgot password" email in your inbox, wait a few minutes and try submitting the "forgot password" form again. Occasionally, these forgotten password emails (or Celigo emails in general) can get caught in spam or quarantine (if you use Outlook).

After you are able to access the account owner login and your licensed Celigo account, we highly recommend reviewing these key resources:

After reviewing the documentation above, you can proceed with adding your individual users to your account (see documentation above for best practices and step-by-step instructions). Once the necessary users are added, they will be able to fill out their profile information and other key settings such as MFA for an added layer of security. We also recommend reviewing your subscription tab to ensure your account has been properly licensed and that we are operating in the correct account.

Quick Tip: Sometimes, users will not be able to access Celigo University until some basic profile fields are filled out.

Occasionally, users accidentally create a free trial account and operate in their free trial account instead of joining the fully licensed account. To confirm whether or not you have created a free trial account, we highly recommend reviewing your subscription entitlements. If it says something along the lines of “Free Plan” in your subscription window, that means you are operating in a free trial account.

As a next step, your Account Owner will need to log in to the fully licensed account and invite the individual users to join the fully licensed account as a user. Make sure to transfer any important integrations in your free trial account to your licensed account before proceeding so they are not lost or ensure all existing integrations are removed (free trial accounts are automatically provisioned with sample integrations and connections to jump-start development). In order to remove the pre-provisioned trial integrations, you will need to first click into the integration tile on your homepage and delete all flows. After deleting those flows, you should be able to delete the pre-provisioned integration tile that lives on your homepage.

Lastly, in order to join the fully licensed account, log in to your free trial account and click on the notification icon in the upper right-hand corner of your Celigo account. From there, you should be able to accept the invitation to join the fully licensed account.

Quick Tip: If you keep receiving an error message when attempting to join the fully licensed account, re-confirm that all integrations, flows, and connections in your account are removed or transferred.

If you are still having trouble accessing your account or joining the fully licensed account, don’t hesitate to reach out to your Celigo Onboarding Manager, Account Manager, or the Celigo support team. Thank you!
