Q. I saw recently that you support SuiteScript v2.0. Should I switch my integrations over? What do I have to gain?
A. Celigo NetSuite Integrator 2.0 – currently in beta release – is built as a SuiteApp on SuiteCloud Development Framework (SDF). It’s ideal for the following integrator.io customers:
- If you are newer to NetSuite, familiar only with SuiteScript 2.0
- Those with record types that aren’t supported in SuiteScript 1.0
- Anyone who is frustrated with SuiteScript out-of-points errors
Q. OK, where’s the catch?
A. You should be aware of what’s changed and the known limitations before switching over any exports or imports.
Compatibility is also important; any hooks must be written in the same SuiteScript version, with minor differences in the options. And, at present, you’ll still need to run the integrator.io NetSuite bundle.
As we continue to refine the SuiteApp to give you at least the same functionality that you’re used to in the NetSuite bundle, we’ll post updates here and in the release notes.
