I am encountering an error when attempting to create an item receipt for a Purchase Order. Anything we can do?

Failed to create, update/transform record because You have attempted an invalid sublist or line item operation. You are either trying to access a field on a non-existent line or you are trying to add or remove lines from a static sublist. Tip: Please make sure that all the line items that you're trying to use exist on the record.

Hi Ovina, thank you for reaching out.

The 'invalid sublist' error occurs because you are attempting to add an item to the Item Receipt that does not exist on the original Purchase Order. NetSuite’s standard workflow requires a strict match between these records; you cannot receive an item that was not part of the source transaction.

Try to enable the 'Use as key to find existing line items' in your NetSuite import field mapping for itemkey.

Hi Jeka,

Thank you for the reply. I did do everthing as suggested, and also I am only trying to create an item receipt for just one item, which is on the PO as well. Still not working.
