Celigo JavaScript API / API Builder: How to pass raw XML payload directly to a Webhook Listener without auto-parsing or triggering flow failures?

Problem Overview

We are using Celigo JavaScript API / API Builder to create an API endpoint that receives an XML request from Postman and forwards the payload to a Celigo Webhook Listener to trigger an integration flow.

We noticed a major difference in behavior depending on payload conversion:

  1. XML --> JSON Conversion: When our Celigo JavaScript API script receives the XML payload, converts it to a JSON object (or JSON string), and posts it to the Celigo Webhook Listener endpoint, the flow triggers successfully.

  2. Raw XML directly: When our Celigo JavaScript API script attempts to pass the raw XML payload directly to the Celigo Webhook Listener (without converting it to JSON), the flow fails to trigger.

Goal

We want to send an XML payload in Postman, process it through our Celigo JavaScript API, and forward the raw XML string directly to the Celigo Webhook Listener while ensuring the listener successfully parses/accepts the raw XML and triggers the target flow.

Hi @Shrehith_K1 On the listener, can you please open "Nonstandard request pattern" and check if the Override request media type is set to XML?
