Allocate FBA orders to below NetSuite customer(s) setting

Amazon settlements flow "NetSuite Settlement Transaction to NetSuite Payment Add" has an invalid sublist error. This is because the invoice count for the default customer in NetSuite is more than 10,000 and payment has errored out. We can use the "Allocate FBA orders to below NetSuite customer(s)" setting present under Order (FBA) > Customers, to equally allocate the orders/invoices for multiple NetSuite customers. This way, the invoice count will be less than 10,000 for each customer and the payments will be created.

Just want to check if there are any other workarounds for it or any drawbacks having multiple customers in NetSuite.

Error: Failed to create, update/transform record because You have attempted an invalid sublist or line item operation. You are either trying to access a field on a non-existent line or you are trying to add or remove lines from a static sublist. Tip: Please make sure that all the line items that you're trying to use exist on the record. Settlement details: Settlement Id# 111111, Amazon AFN Order# 111-1111111-1111111.

Hi Rahul,

This is a common scenario for Amazon Seller Central users integrating with NetSuite. Since Amazon issues Settlement files bi-weekly, it's not unusual for many customer invoices to remain open—especially if you're routing all transactions to a single default customer.

To address this, the NetSuite Integration App allows configuration for multiple default customers under the Order Settings. You can list multiple customer records separated by a semicolon. This distributes invoices across several customer records, which helps reduce the likelihood of encountering the error you're seeing during the Payment flow.

There are no significant downsides to using multiple Amazon customer records, aside from needing to include all of them when building saved searches or generating reports.

Let me know if you need help configuring the settings!

Hello James,

Thanks for addressing this. I was just checking for any downsides but looks like there are none. I have configured the settings and should be good now. Thank you.
