Has anyone successfully used the Stoq app on Shopify and updating orders from status “scheduled” to “fulfilled” when they ship before the preorder date?
We’re getting an error on the fulfillment flow in the integration app that Shopify won’t let us update from the status of “scheduled”.
Just wondering if anybody has ideas for how to code around this in a case where we stock arrives early and we ship preorders ahead of schedule.
May I ask what is the error message you’re getting? Also, you mentioned that you’re using the Integration App, may I know if the fulfillment flow you mentioned is the one coming from NetSuite going to Shopify or is it from Shopify going into NetSuite?
May I also ask if you are trying to update the fulfillment record in NetSuite or are you trying to update the Sales Order record in NetSuite?
Fulfillment order 12594782667119 has an unfulfillable status= scheduled.
This is on a NetSuite fulfillment to Shopify fulfillment (add) flow in the integration app, where NetSuite has the updated fulfillment record, and we are trying to update Shopify to fulfilled and trigger emails and payment capture.
It shows in the first note that the Integration App only supports creating new fulfillments in Shopify and updating existing fulfillments is currently not supported.
Thanks, Jay! This pretty much confirms what we found to date. It looks like we can ship on or after the preorder date, but early shipping will not be possible out of the box.
