TROUBLESHOOTING: How do I get around “ss_out_of_points” errors?

Q. I see occasional notifications about errors with the code ss_out_of_points. I assume they’re not coming from integrator.io. What are points? How do I stay within a limit if I’m not running any SuiteScript routines, to my knowledge?

A. Each NetSuite API call, typically executed as part of the integrator.io NetSuite bundle, costs a number of “points” as determined by NetSuite.

Certain requests, especially in NetSuite imports, can cause higher point usage, depending on the number of records and associated operations.
