We’re interested to see whether Celigo has a plan to update the integration app around the same time? Or if this is something we should be investigating as a custom flow?
Thanks for posting your interest in this upcoming feature! I've noted this request and will keep it in our backlog as we track Shopify's new Inventory Transfer APIs.
To better assess and prioritize this enhancement, could you share more about your specific use case and how you're planning to leverage this functionality? In particular, it would help to understand your intended workflow and what you consider the "source of truth" for inventory in your setup (e.g., Shopify or NetSuite).
We have retail stores running Shopify POS. We replenish these stores in Netsuite by a transfer Order, currently with no integrated solution the stores login to Netsuite and receive the transfer order - we would like them to be able to do this within Shopify POS.
Netsuite would be the source of truth.
Conceptually, something like the following:
Transfer Order is created in Netsuite, a Celigo flow runs a saved search gets the transfer order data and then creates this Inventory Transfer in Shopify via GraphQL API.
When received in Shopify POS, webhooks into Celigo (Webhooks / Webhooks) which adds / updates the transfer order quantities (if less were received) and adds an item receipt against the transfer order in Netsuite.
@meckens My clients run a similar process. NetSuite is the overall source of truth for inventory. The client reviews inventory levels across the various sites and enters transfer orders to restock the retail locations. The inventory planner eventually has to receive the goods in NetSuite.
I need to understand the Shopify functionality deeper. I imagine a use case where individual store managers are responsible for their own inventory and they would want to generate a "PO" or inventory request in Shopify that would integrate to NetSuite as a TO.
