I believe custom flow, any way I can tell?
You had posted under the Integration Apps category so I assumed you are using a IA. You can tell by looking at the description on the tile. Where is this inventory going to?
You might then just need to make a search for "Inventory and Bin Numbers" and not an "Item" search.
If this is an IA, then you wouldn't be able to change the saved search record type and would need to make your own flow outside of the IA.
Hello @calvinlee936 ,
You saved search should be build from "Inventory Balance" in order to limit the specific bin for specific item.
Let me know if you still need assistance on this.
Regards,
Yes it is an IA. Let me contact celigo support to see what can be done.
Since this primarily involves customizing your NetSuite saved search to generate the desired output within an item search, support won’t have much more to offer. The record type in the IA cannot be changed from Item to another type. While the IA is designed to cover most customer use cases, it doesn’t address every scenario. This might be a great opportunity for you to build your own flow, and there are plenty of resources to guide you through the process. Additionally, sending inventory to Shopify is relatively straightforward, so getting started shouldn’t be too difficult.
If you decide to go this route, we offer office hours every Tuesday (link), and you can also seek help in the Integrator.io channel or explore training through the Celigo University.
If I go this route to build my own flow, and turn off the IA flow, will that affect the number of flows I have running?
No because you would turn off the IA flow and turn on your own flow.
Hey Tyler, trying to create the saved search now with inventory and bin numbers but coming up pretty short with results. Any ideas why this isnt populating any results?
If you have no criteria, do you have any results at all?
the criteria i am using is bin number does not contain FLX, is that not the criteria you would use? I have over 300 bins in netsuite, was trying to avoid clicking in 280+ bins in the desc. field
I was trying to understand why you get no results on the output. However, as mentioned during office hours, you'll need to make an item search if you're going to continue using the IA. Follow this suggestion (Saved search to pull inventory from specific bins per location? - #20 by tylerlamparter) and set up the search as you had it before:
Hey tyler, I think the problem I was running into using an item search was that the sums of the inventory in bin on hand avail was presenting some weird numbers, please
see attached
I think I'm going to go off and just create a custom flow and turn off the IA.
In this case though, what are you using for "location id"?
The formula you provided, which works flawlessly! Case when (miami)=1, etc etc., may you suggest where I may start for this saved search? I think an item search will produce the same weird sum numbers right?
Shouldn't be an issue if you are careful with what sublists you are referencing. I noticed in your prior screenshot that you had criteria for "Inventory Detail: Bin Number," but you should make the filter for "Bin On Hand: Bin Number." By using the inventory detail, you are telling NetSuite to make yet another join, which then balloons the quantities.
Tyler, that worked...!!!!! I have been breaking my head for the past 7 days with 2-3 hour sessions.... Thank you sir. I appreciate this! Now i just have to create the custom flow in celigo and turn off the IA flow right? Or do you think the formula you created with a custom column label mimicking"location_id" would suffice?
I would just use this new search in the IA. It should work fine
