The new Amazon flow for adding and updating products has tons of fields in the mapping. Do we need to keep all of the fields and only populate the ones we need or what exactly is required in the mapping? The old wrapper only had the SKU mapped so just want to be clear about what is needed
Hi @nickhilbelink ,
The new Amazon product flow uses a centralized mapper implemented in Celigo's Mapper 2.0 that includes all possible Amazon attributes to provide flexibility across different product types. However, you only need to map the fields that are required for your product types.
Unmapped fields will remain in a draft state—they're available for future reference but won't be processed or sent to Amazon. During the flow run, only the fields that are explicitly mapped and have corresponding data in your NetSuite saved search will be included in the payload sent to Amazon.
This new approach allows for much more customization—but it doesn’t mean you need to map everything. Just make sure the fields you do map have valid data in NetSuite.
Also, here's an utility we have built to understand the relevant attributes for a given Product Type and their valid values (enums)
