Hi,

I run into these issues daily and thought I'd stop and share with the Celigo team. If any other users have additional issues, please add to the thread!

  1. Can't use arrow keys to select from field suggestion list - when the suggestion list pops up you need to use your mouse to click on an entry. It would be better if I could arrow down to select the match I want, then press enter and have it commit the line (and maybe start a new one? Or move focus to the "add rule" icon so I can press enter to start another)
  2. Leaving focus from a field with a suggestion list doesn't hide the list - If you tab out of a field the list remains visible and it takes interacting with the mouse to get rid of it. Maybe ESC works, but either way it should hide when focus is lost.
  3. Where does focus go after you select an item from the suggestion list? Suggest going to the add rule icon of if the destination field is empty, maybe focus there?
  4. ESC key has slight delay when hiding suggestion list - minor, but mildly annoying

Basically the editor is painful to use if you want to keep your hands on your keyboard and avoid the mouse.

@steveklett, thanks for the feedback. I think a couple of these are getting fixed in the next release, but I'll defer to @priyankakoundal as she has all the details about what we are doing here.

Thank you for providing feedback. We will log tickets for each of the insights you provided here, and as following steps, we will evaluate the priority of these items in comparison to others in the backlog and pick up for implementation accordingly. I will keep you updated on the progress here.
