I’m trying to clear a custom date field in NetSuite using an update. But for whatever reason it isn’t clearing the field. I’ve tried using an empty string ““, “null”, and null but they either throw errors or they are successful but nothing is cleared.
Not sure if anyone has any insight on this.
Looks like a bug because SS2.0 definitely lets you clear date fields. I added a note to the internal ticket and we'll raise a product bug to get it fixed. Thanks for reporting!
@tylerlamparter for posts like this where there’s an internal ticket, could the Celigo team add a tag or maybe a “backlog” category in the community? That would make it easier for us to track and follow up once it’s fixed, otherwise we’re kind of in the dark on status. Or would that be too much overhead?
@nuriensing, @mengdionisio is actually tracking when these come up and will have reps update the tickets once there is resolution. A new tag could be a good way to filter these for her and others though. Maybe pending-resolution, or something like that.
In this case @Colin_Smith himself would be alerted to when a fix is put out because his internal ticket is linked to our internal bug, however we haven't incorporated the same automation to community yet, partly since it's a public forum and volume of these are low.
For the above bug, it's been added to May release backlog bug fixing.
Will add a tag for tracking and ensure that the resolution comes back to this thread. Thanks!
