FAQ: How can I edit lookups in a database import connector?

Q: I’m using a lookup in a database import connector to define whether an existing data ID is found or not. Once I’ve created these lookups, how can I edit them?

A: You manage these lookups in the SQL import itself.

  1. Open your SQL import step in the flow you want to make changes to.
  2. Click the Build SQL query Launch button. This will display the Build SQL query editor.
  3. Click the Manage lookups button in the taskbar of this editor. This will display a list of lookups you’ve configured for this import step.
  4. Click the Actions … icon, which gives you the option to edit or delete the lookup.
  5. Click Edit lookup. In the Manage lookups panel that displays, you can then modify the lookup criteria and details.
  6. Click Save to save any changes. If you’ve changed the name, the new name will now display in the Manage lookups panel.
