Hello Connective Community,
On behalf of the Design System team, I'm absolutely thrilled to announce the long-awaited arrival of Dark Mode for Integrator.io! :tada:

This has been one of our most requested features, and it's a direct result of a 12-month (18 for some) effort by a small, dedicated team of designers and developers. We didn't just flip a switch; we built an entirely new design system from the ground up to ensure a beautiful, consistent, and smooth experience across the board - including an updated light mode, system matching, and of course, a high-performance dark theme.

Why This Is More Than Just a Color Change
Our mission with Dark Mode was to create the most comfortable and productive viewing experience possible, especially for those of you who spend hours building complex integrations, or pouring through endless data tables.

  • :eyes: Built for Comfort: By reducing screen light and enhancing contrast, Dark Mode can significantly reduce eye strain and visual fatigue, making your long days much easier on your eyes.

  • :bullseye: Focus on Your Work: The new dark theme helps your content, metadata, and data flows stand out, allowing you to concentrate on the logic of your integrations without distraction.

  • :infinity: Enhanced Accessibility: We meticulously chose our colors and contrast ratios to meet WCAG standards, ensuring text and UI elements remain crisp and legible for everyone.

A True System-Wide Redesign
Creating a truly effective Dark Mode required a complete re-evaluation of our UI components. We redesigned almost every component to ensure that the visual hierarchy, interactivity, and colors are just as clear and intuitive in the dark theme as they are in the light theme. Plus, the new theme is system-aware. If your operating system is set to dark mode, Integrator.io will match it. Don't worry, you'll still have the option to set your preferred theme manually.

How to Switch to Dark Mode
Making the switch is quick and easy:

  1. Navigate to the system bar theme settings in the top right corner of the Integrator.io UI.

  2. Look for the new theme setting icon (sun, moon, or half-circle).

  3. Select Dark, Light, or System to instantly transform your workspace.

We Need Your Feedback!
We believe this is a huge step forward for Integrator.io, making it a more productive and visually comfortable platform. While we've tested thoroughly, with a complete design system change and a new theme, there might be a few small details we missed. Please jump in, give it a try, and let us know what you think (in Product Feedback)! Your feedback is invaluable as we continue to polish and evolve our design system, simplify complex workflows, and push for continuous improvements to our user experiences.

Did the Mock Outputs feature go away? I can’t find it this morning on Exports, Lookups, or Imports

Mock output is still available as a tabbed control in the top of the preview panel in the export configuration view.

12-18 month :weary_cat: Really nice how the ui keeps getting updated constantly. Huge grats to the team.
