Custom Mapping for Shopify Channels / Published Scope

Hello!

We have multiple Shopify stores, which all require unique settings to be applied to the sales channels (mainly toggling online store and POS on/off depending on available inventory in different locations).

Rather than use the “Sync published scope from NetSuite to Shopify” setting, are we able to create a custom mapping in the Shopify product flow to point to a different custom field in NetSuite? We would essentially recreate the standard “Shopify Product Visibilty” field to be a unique field for each Shopify Store, or alternatively would set these values in the saved search for the flow.

I’m a bit confused by some of the material I can find online about implementing such a change and can’t really tell if it’s possible without a custom flow.

Thanks in advance!

Hi Matthew,

You can try setting the custom field for each store as the Source Field in the saved search Results tab however, you need to retain the custom label as Shopify Product Scope.

If this doesn’t work, please submit a Support Ticket.

Hi Barbs,

Thanks so much! It seems obvious now that you say it.

I hadn’t realised that the “Sync published scope from NetSuite to Shopify” setting was still referring to the value in the saved search. I thought it was somehow hardwired directly into the NetSuite field, which when I think about it now, doesn’t make sense.

I appreciate you steering me in the right direction!

Matt
