Can't clone Integration created before upgrade to B2B Mgr

I'm trying to clone an Integration from production that was created before we enabled B2B Manager. During the final step of Installation of the cloned integration I receive the error:

Global ID is required in the file definitions when cloning or installing EDI resources.

Sigh...

  1. OK, I figured I'd go "touch" the file defs in prod to trigger a globalId to be generated - nope, no ID created
  2. I then tried to add it to the JSON directly "globalId": "5431abd4-9686-4827-89b1-3664b9357842" - it saves, but when you open the file definition editor again, it's gone (so NOT saved, I suppose)

What's the trick? I can't be the first person to run into this?

@steveklett this is a known issue and we will be picking up for the next release.

Meanwhile as a workaround, can you please remove that EDI step from the flow before cloning and add the same in the new cloned flow?

When is the next release and is this guaranteed to be included?

The workaround isn't acceptable, it's destructive. We would need to modify production (not permitted), but even if we did we would lose the history and generally need to break the flow to use ILM.

Do you know if it's possible to deactivate B2B Mgr? Is that a question for my rep?
