I’ve been trying to connect to Amazon’s AWD for FBA using my Amazon Seller connections… and continue to get unauthorised on any query to that endpoint.
After much back and forth with the support team getting no where, they instruct me to schedule a call with professional service team. They initially told me to recreate a new connection from scratch via HTTP connection and not using the Amazon Connection which cannot do due to no available endpoints remaining in our subscription.
Has anyone been able to take advantage of the this particular endpoint via Celigo, during the support conversation they believed that the Celigo connector app on Amazon hasn’t been authorised to access AWD scopes.
It looks like our app isn't currently authorized to access this endpoint. Amazon requires us to go through approvals for any endpoint we want to work with, and we have to provide justification for why we need it. Let me check internally on who can start the process of requesting these additional endpoints. Could you provide your use case to help us with our justification?
As for making a connection with the universal HTTP connection, I think this should be possible, but Amazon is pretty tricky. While you may create your own app and get it to work, if there is any PII data for those endpoints, then your app may not be approved to access that data. Here are some docs about making your own app: Register your Application. After you create this, I can help try to figure out making this connection in Celigo.
For licensing, I would work on making this in sandbox first, and then when it needs to be in production, you should reach out to your account executive to have another endpoint added for you since you had to work around our Amazon connector limitation.
Use Case for Accessing Additional Amazon Endpoints:
We are transitioning from using Fulfilled by Amazon (FBA) shipments to Amazon Warehousing and Distribution (AWD) to better manage our inventory and fulfillment needs. This change will allow us to optimize our logistics by storing inventory in Amazon’s AWD network and then creating downstream FBA replenishment shipments or fulfilling multichannel orders directly from AWD.
To enable this workflow, we need Celigo to integrate with the relevant Amazon Selling Partner API (SP-API) endpoints that support AWD operations, including inventory transfers, storage management, and AWD replenishment workflows.
Specifically, the integration will help us:
Monitor AWD inventory levels and stock movement
Automate the creation of replenishment shipments from AWD to FBA
Track inbound and outbound shipments within the AWD network
Improve visibility and reduce manual handling of inventory across multiple Amazon fulfillment programs
This access is critical to maintaining real-time sync between NetSuite and Amazon AWD, ensuring efficient operations and accurate stock control.
Thanks for the information, are you able to point me in the right direction to setup a custom connector to Amazon SP.
I have done everything on Amazon side and have all the connection details, but the authorisation process to obtain the authorised token I cannot seem to marry to any guides of how to setup a custom connector to the Connecting to the Selling Partner API.
