Purpose of Shopify Transaction ID Field on Customer Deposit Record in NetSuite

I'm trying to better understand the purpose of the Shopify Transaction ID(S) field (custbody_celigo_shpfy_transaction_ids) on Customer Deposit records in NetSuite.

My understanding is that it might help in matching Shopify payouts with the relevant deposit transactions, but I'm not entirely sure if this is the primary use of the field or if it’s critical for reconciling payouts in the "Shopify Payout Transactions to NetSuite Deposit" flow. If so, I would like to know the location of it's use and intended purpose.

Your understanding is correct.

In the flow Shopify Payout Transactions to NetSuite Deposit > import : Post deposits to NetSuite > postMapHook: shopifyDepositImportPostMapHook, the field custbody_celigo_shpfy_transaction_ids is used for searching or matching relevant transactions in NetSuite.
